About Me

A teacher and coach passionate about helping students unlock success

Prior to creating my executive functioning program, I worked to teach, coach, and develop young people in a number of capacities, both in the United States and abroad. I consulted in the Arlington, Massachusetts school district as a language-based learning disability specialist. Prior to Arlington, I worked at the Landmark School in Beverly, Massachusetts in the area of special education. I also taught English as a Second Language (ESL) as part of my tenure as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Amman, Jordan. I earned a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Massachusetts.

I founded my organization in 2010.

Creating this program gives me the privilege to work directly with individual students and their parents within their home environment. I love seeing my students develop. Students initially feel skeptical, discouraged and anxious due to an unfortunate amount of prior academic disappointments. Somewhere between the twelfth and sixteenth week they are self-directing their management skills intuitively.

My students exit this program with an individualized organizational imprint. As a result academic anxiety is significantly reduced and they own the confidence to charge ahead.

In short, there is nothing more rewarding than being part of the personal transformation that occurs in a student as he or she uncovers their potential for success.
